Thank you for taking an interest in The Children’s Academy on the Halifax. We are a preschool serving children from 6 weeks through 4 years old. Our faculty is dedicated to providing a loving and nurturing environment while ensuring our curriculum focuses on developing the whole child, academically, socially, and emotionally. The teachers at The Children’s Academy make each day a learning adventure where children are excited to learn and while in an environment that provides the utmost care.

Alicia Caputo

Alicia Caputo joined us as Director of the Children's Academy in January of 2017. She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education. Since graduating in 2005, she has worked in both public and private school settings. Her teaching career includes working with elementary students in first through fifth grade. Alicia is passionate about education and strives to create a well-balanced, safe and loving learning environment. She is loves serving as the director of The Children’s Academy on the Halifax and working with the excellent staff to enrich the students’ early childhood experience.

Alicia and her husband, Jeffrey, have four wonderful children. The oldest, Emma is sixteen and is currently in the eleventh grade. James and Lucas, their twin boys, are seven and are in the second grade. Their youngest son Jack is one and attends The Children's Academy. Together, they enjoy playing outdoors, going to the beach, and sports.
